Install, configure, start, stop, restart, monitor, update, manage domains, and authenticate your Dovi server from a single CLI.

dovi install
Set up Dovi on your VPS. Configures systemd, nginx, SSL, and the API server. Production-ready in 90 seconds.

dovi update
Download the latest Dovi binary and restart the service. Checks the version API for the newest release.
dovi uninstall
Remove the Dovi service, nginx config, and systemd unit. Clean removal from your server.
dovi start
Start the Dovi server in the foreground. Launches the API, terminal multiplexer, and WebSocket connections.

dovi stop
Stop the Dovi systemd service. Gracefully shuts down the API server and all active connections.
dovi restart
Restart the Dovi systemd service. Applies any pending configuration changes.
dovi status
Show service status: uptime, domain, port, and connection info.
dovi config
Show current configuration as JSON: domain, port, shell, AI setup status, and all active settings.
dovi config set <key> <value>
Update a config value. Set domain, port, shell, AI credentials, and more. Stored in /etc/dovi/config.json.
dovi domain create
Create a subdomain with nginx config and Cloudflare DNS record. Automatic SSL provisioning.

List all active domains and subdomains configured on this server.
dovi domain delete
Remove a domain, its nginx config, and the associated DNS record.

dovi pin
Display your 6-digit authentication PIN. Used to pair the mobile app and obtain JWT tokens.
dovi pin reset
Generate a new 6-digit PIN. Invalidates the previous PIN immediately.
dovi version
Show the current Dovi version and build ID.
